Dear Father, I come to you in the wonderful name of Jesus.
Thank You for being my ABBA Father.(Romans 8:15) Thank you that you are an omnipresent Father to me. Lord, I bring my children before You and ask you to keep and guide them. Thank you that you are a Father to them! Thank you that I can proclaim your promises over them. You promise that my children shall be disciples -taught by the Lord and obedient to His will, and great shall be the peace and undisturbed composure of your children. (Isa 54:13). I declare over them that they have a heart after you and your Spirit is effectually at work in them energizing and creating in them the power and desire, both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight. (Phil 2:13). Thank you that you open their eyes (Matt 9:30) continually to your goodness and grace towards them and thank you that you keep them from harm.
You rescue them from hidden traps, shields them from deadly hazards. Your huge outstretched arms protect them and under them, they’re perfectly safe; Your arms fend off all harm. I Fear nothing for them—not wild wolves in the night, not flying arrows in the day, Not disease that prowls through the darkness, not disaster that erupts at high noon. A thousand may fall at their side, And ten thousand at their right hand; No harm will even graze them. Yes, because God’s their refuge, the High God their very own home, Evil can’t get close to them, harm can’t get through the door. He ordered his angels to guard them wherever you go. If they stumble, they’ll catch them; their job is to keep them from falling. They’ll walk unharmed among lions and snakes, and kick young lions and serpents from the path. (Psalm 91)
Thank you that you clothe them with your wisdom and understanding. I declare over them that they will Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all of their heart and mind and do not rely on their own insight or understanding. In all their ways know, recognize, and acknowledge You, and You will direct and make straight and plain their paths. (Prov 3: 5-6)
I pray this in Jesus name.
